This is a picture of my center of operations. The first computer is my wifes. The middle one is mine where I answer your questions and monitor the Live Chat for my site. The last one is my server, where you are right now. As a computer Geek, I have tons of parts available on the shelves to the far right. Notice if you will that there is a lot of stuff in this area. What you are looking at is over 16 years of tools and parts. I do not believe in getting rid of the older technology, and actually buy a lot of it on eBay, for my customers who need those older parts. The table between my server and the parts shelves was a repair table at one time. Do to the amount of parts and programs I have, I had to start doing repairs on a roll around cart.

Notice the consolidation?

I hear people all the time saying that those 6 outlet strips are bad. This office is running from 2 seperate circuits, whereas the wife's computer, my computer, and the big printer are on circuit #1, total plugs 10! All out of one outlet. The second circuit is the cable modem, my video serveilance system, the server and it's monitor, and the Wifi (3 wireless routers on top of the server's monitor) all run from. Total plugs 16! Total number of 6 outlet stips = 4. Each one is run through a seperate channel of the Interex Surge Slayer Plus that is between the wife's computer and mine. The strips themselves are not bad, as long as they run through a surge protector first! If you don't have a surge protector, you are risking loosing your computer investment to the electric company. Doesn't matter if you have one, or many like I do. I also run a laptop which is in my kitchen presently, but goes where I go. I leave it hooked up in my kitchen when I am home, so when I am cooking those great Gourmet meals, I can still maintain the Live Chat for this site. Yup, I even do Windows, that aren't licensed by Billy Gates.....lol
